TRACE
Trace is a collection of field notes, observations and reflections arising from my plein-air practice and sixteen years of living in the Arabian Peninsula. It follows frameworks and themes that shape the paintings, the conditions of working on location, decisions made in paint, and questions that extend beyond painting into access, orientation, hospitality, solitude and presence.
I only speak from where I’ve stood.
